Beginning Lindy Hop - Starting Monday, August 9th at 7:40pm in Room B, this eight-week course will take you from the very first steps, through basic swing outs, to turns and more! Lindy Hop is fun, energetic swing dance that will challenge every dancer. You do not have to have any dance experience to get started; just attend the first class to sign up.
Hula Hoop Workout – Starting August 9th at 6:30pm in Room A, join us for this four-week class series! No longer your childhood past time, Hooping is a fun aerobic workout that can burn 600-800 calories in just an hour! Hooping works every muscle group, improves coordination, boosts energy levels, and builds strength, endurance and agility. This class will focus on basic hooping moves and steps that will give you a full-body workout and keep you smiling for hours after. Weighted, adult sized hoops will be provided for class use by Liz and will also be for sale for at home fun and practice!
STEPJAM Class – Join us Friday, August 6th at 9:15am for the new STEPJAM Release 7. This energizing step workout is choreographed to the latest music to keep you moving and singing along. STEPJAM includes plyometrics and power intervals to challenge every fitness level. Step up to the challenge and take this class!!
NEW TRX Classes – Look for TRX class demonstrations in August! TRX suspension training is a revolutionary method of leveraged bodyweight exercise. UFC is the ONLY fitness center in our area to offer TRX classes designed to build power, strength, flexibility, balance, mobility, and prevent injuries, all at the intensity you choose. Demonstrations will be held in August and regular classes will begin in September.
